Flagged down a taxi at 430pm.
Me: Hi, Pasir Ris MRT, please.
Taxi Driver: Going home so early?
Me: No, that’s my client’s place, am going back to the office.
Taxi Driver: Nowadays, there are a lot of LAZY girls doing sales!
WTF?!? *#%^*!
Just because I’m going to the train station at 430pm (and giving him business), and he didn’t even know what I do for a living. I really do not need his judgments or opinions about me.
And even if that comment wasn’t meant for me, I still don’t need to hear his complaints. Damn!
Ok, felt better now. : P

Oh my that's the nastiest one I've heard! :O
Bee, this demonstrates that people from certain professions can be particularly rude with impunity.
Not only taxi drivers, but also proctologists, dentists, waiters... I mean, who is going to risk insulting them while in such a, ahem, precarious position with them?
Now maybe *afterwards*, you could have said, "Nowadays, there are a lot of STUPID AND RUDE taxi drivers" (and then left him a 2 cent tip :P)
Unfortunately there isn't tipping in Singapore; instead you could shake out all your 1- and 5-cents and hand over the taxi fare entirely in small change. :P
